Three names on United's radar: Bouaddi, Koné, Scott

Manchester United's midfield restructuring continues at full speed. According to Bild, three names stand out on the list of the English giants, who want to continue their midfield signings: Lille's 18-year-old Moroccan star Ayyoub Bouaddi, Roma's French midfielder Manu Koné, and Bournemouth's English talent Alex Scott.

This search comes right after two important developments at the club. While the £50 million transfer of Andrey Santos from Chelsea has been finalized, the transfer of Ederson from Atalanta was called off due to concerns that emerged during the second part of his medical. According to reports, the club plans to add two more midfielders alongside Santos. Casemiro's departure and Manuel Ugarte's long-term injury have deepened this need even further.

The situations of the three targets differ from one another. Roma are reported to be open to selling Koné, whose value has risen at the World Cup. Bournemouth, meanwhile, do not want to sell Scott, admired for his age and potential, and are aiming for a new contract with the player, which means the fee would be high. As for Bouaddi, who has been closely watched since the start of the season and at the World Cup, Lille are ready to sell but want to keep the young star on loan for one more season. A fee of around €100 million is said to be in play for an immediate transfer, with a €75-80 million range discussed for a loan-back formula.

It is also emphasized that the competition for Bouaddi is fierce, with Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Bayern Munich also tracking the young player. Which two names from this three-man list Manchester United will pursue will become clear in the coming weeks.
