Tottenham Make First Official Bid to Galatasaray for Osimhen

There has been a fresh development in Victor Osimhen's future. According to transfer specialist Ekrem Konur, writing for Caught Offside, Tottenham have submitted an opening bid worth between £50 million and £55 million to Galatasaray as Roberto De Zerbi looks to strengthen his attack. According to the report, Galatasaray are holding out for a fee closer to £65 million for the Nigerian star.

Per Konur, Chelsea, Manchester United and Atletico Madrid are also closely monitoring the situation, a factor that could drive up Osimhen's asking price even further. Chelsea, long-time admirers of the striker, have maintained their interest throughout the transfer window, while Manchester United reportedly view him as their ideal long-term No. 9 after a prolonged search for a proven goalscorer. Personal terms are not expected to be an issue, though rival interest could push the fee higher.

The 27-year-old forward, who completed a permanent €75 million move to Galatasaray from Napoli last summer and is under contract until June 2029, has become the face of the Turkish champions following an unforgettable season in Istanbul. Former Napoli manager Luciano Spalletti previously described Osimhen as "a complete striker" with "great flourishes of pace, determination and physicality." While no formal approach has been confirmed with Galatasaray as of yet, Osimhen's name continues to feature prominently among potential targets due to his outstanding form.
