Andreeva in the Final: Beat Kostyuk 6-1, 6-3 in 76 Minutes
In the women's singles semi-final of Roland Garros 2026, the 19-year-old Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva defeated the Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk 6-1, 6-3 in 76 minutes and reached the first Grand Slam final of her career. Despite the 15th seed Kostyuk beating Andreeva in the 2026 season at the Madrid final and the Brisbane quarter-final, she could not maintain the same dominance on Court Philippe-Chatrier. While Andreeva won a total of 68 points, Kostyuk's score remained at 49; the Russian tennis player will face the winner of the Diana Shnaider-Maja Chwalinska semi-final in Saturday's final.
